Over the years I’ve developed a method of creating a Theory of Change – what I call the MVP MethodTM – that helps organizations find greater clarity about their work and their messaging. I’ve seen how a strong theory of change can transform an organization, giving it greater focus, greater purpose, and greater cohesion among its staff and Board. Now I’d like to help more organizations apply this method to reap its benefits.
Starting next month, I’m piloting a new program to help organizations develop a theory of change – one that builds common understanding around both the problem and the vision, identifies critical leverage points for truly transforming the system, and defines an organization’s unique role and value within that system.
In this program, The ToC Workshop, I will work closely with a select few to use the MVP MethodTM to craft a theory of change that will guide their organizations’ work and strengthen their organizations’ messaging. The program will offer not only my consulting services but also step-by-step guidance to producing a theory of change narrative and diagram.
There are four components to the program:
- weekly webinars to learn how to develop a theory of change;
- weekly one-on-one consultations to discuss individual progress;
- email access to me at any time for any other questions or concerns; and
- my feedback and revisions on your work.
Normally when I work with organizations to develop a theory of change it takes about three months and would cost the client around $3,000. This would consist of consultations and my feedback and revisions.
The ToC Workshop is just 8 weeks and offers more guidance and instruction, plus the added benefit of learning from others as they develop their own theories of change with you. The total value of what I’m offering is about $4,000, but the program will only cost $2,000.
